It’s often hard for Site Managers to keep track of changes in legislation and ensure that all fall protection and working at height equipment is tested and in full working order. We take our duty of care very seriously which is why we like to work in partnership with our customers to remind them well in advance of testing renewals and ensure any issues are raised and dealt with in a timely manner. We even have an online portal which allows customers access their test certificates whenever they need them.
A recent example from our Technical Support Manager shows why our commitment to customer support is at the heart of our business. Stephen Gomersall our Technical Support Manager was visiting a site in London responding to a maintenance enquiry for a high level access cradle. While he was walking through the site he noticed that all the eyebolts, which were located adjacent to internal office windows and the existing Latchway system, were overdue for testing.
Keen to ensure that there were no working at height issues on-site, once Stephen had completed the BMU survey, he quickly brought the issues to the attention of the Site Manager. We quoted for maintaining all of the equipment on-site and grateful for our diligence and quick quote response, the customer is now incredibly pleased to be have our experience engineers servicing and maintaining all of the fall protection equipment on-site.
